Crafted by Nike Basketball Senior Designer Leo Chang the Nike Bluechip is among the team-oriented options available for the '08-'09 hoops season. The model has been released in a bevy of color schemes suitable for any high school, but now, we're beginning to see player exclusive joints drops at Footlocker's monopolized House of Hoops.
More particularly, the Bluechip will be available in a Caron Butler white/royal blue copper iteration, along with a black/powder blue/yellow version for Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay. The shoe features Air-Sole units in the forefoot and heel, a natural motion inspired outsole, and inventive lateral stitching. Release date is slated for 10/18! Via: Sole Collector.
When he is not scoring touchdowns, earning awards or working out in the offseason, LaDainian Tomlinson is designing his pair of Nike Air Force 1's to be featured in the Nike 1 World collection. Questlove was the latest to collaborate with Nike for the project, but LT's model is a lot more simpler than the Questloves. Appearing in a Hiroshi Fujiwara style, the upper is composed of a white croc upper accent by a light blue and "LT" logo at the heel. Release is scheduled for sometime in September at select retailers with a price tag of $250. Via Complex.
